Our Signature Belly to Baby experience combines both sessions into one complete portrait plan. Your maternity and newborn sessions are reserved together from the beginning, with finished images included from both sessions and priority newborn scheduling after your baby arrives.

Your Austin Maternity Photography Experience
Your maternity session takes place in our North Austin photography studio, where we create polished, fine art maternity portraits with professional studio lighting, wardrobe styling, posing, and retouching.
Signature Maternity and Belly to Baby sessions include professional hair and makeup, access to our maternity wardrobe, and 3–5 portrait looks. Petite Maternity sessions offer a shorter, mom-focused studio experience with 2–3 looks and access to select wardrobe pieces.
Throughout your maternity photo session, we’ll direct you through flattering poses and expressions while creating a variety of portraits ranging from simple and timeless to editorial and dramatic.
After your session, you’ll receive a private online proof gallery to select your included portraits and any additional images you would like to purchase. Each selected image is professionally retouched and includes a matching Fine Art Print.
Booking & Payment
A non-refundable Session Retainer reserves your session date and is applied toward the total session investment. The remaining photography balance is due after your session, when you select your finished images.
For Signature Maternity and Belly to Baby sessions, professional hair and makeup is provided by our preferred artist for $200 and is paid directly to the artist on the session date.
Belly to Baby requires a $390 Session Retainer to reserve both maternity and newborn sessions.
Signature Maternity requires a $390 Session Retainer, and Petite Maternity requires a $290 Session Retainer.
All sessions are photographed in our North Austin studio during weekday business hours.
Maternity sessions typically begin at 10:30 a.m.

FAQ
When should my maternity session take place?
We typically recommend having maternity photos taken prior to 36 weeks along, usually around 32-34 weeks. This timing ensures you are nicely round and showing well, yet still comfortable enough to move around, change clothes, and stand for the session. However, you may book your shoot anytime before you give birth. Some expectant moms prefer to come in a little earlier in their pregnancy and some moms decide at the last minute, with only weeks left until baby arrives. Ultimately the timing is up to you and what you are comfortable with.
When is the best time to book my Maternity session?
It's best to book your maternity session once you enter the second trimester. This allows us to plan and prepare for the session to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Is hair and makeup included in the Maternity session package?
Yes! Hair and makeup services are included with all maternity sessions. You will be pampered and ready for the camera, as my talented artist will be available at the studio to do your makeup with lashes and add curls to your hair.
How do I know the you have maternity wardrobe that will fit? Can I come try them on?
While I understand the desire to try on the gowns, my busy schedule unfortunately does not allow for in-person try-ons. However, rest assured that all my dresses are made of stretch jersey fabric, and I order most to accommodate a wide range of sizes. For smaller moms, I can make adjustments using clamps.
How long does the maternity shoot take?
The duration of the maternity shoot depends on factors such as whether we have partners and children involved, as well as the number of outfits and setups we decide on. A typical maternity session includes 3-5 looks and lasts around up to 2 hours. Clients can expect to be at the studio for at least 4.5 hours. Don't worry; the sessions are fun, and clients often express surprise at how quickly time passes.
How many setups and poses are done in the Signature Maternity Session?
In a maternity session, we usually have 3-5 different outfits or gowns, and if requested we typically include fabric draping and low-key pregnancy form silhouettes during the session, as well. This allows for a variety of beautiful and unique shots to capture this special time in your life.
Can my partner and children join the session?
Absolutely! While the Signature Maternity Session mainly focus on the mom-to-be, we love including partners and children. This creates heartwarming family moments and celebrates the upcoming addition to your family.
How Many Photos Will I get with My Maternity Session
The number of images you receive is entirely up to you. At your ordering appointment, I will present you with a selection of images taken, and you can choose your favorite ones to keep. You have the final decision over the images you wish to purchase.
Do you retouch the photos?
Yes, all portraits will be professionally retouched to meet studio standards. I take great care in ensuring that your images are enhanced to look their best while maintaining a natural and authentic feel.
